Make reservations early – there is an international Triathlon that will fill up all city accommodations.  If you wait to make reservations, there won’t be rooms available ANYWHERE in the city.
Coeur d’Alene is about 30 miles from Spokane Airport.  There is an airport shuttle, or if you call the hotel, the hotel has a shuttle is available, so that ride costs can be shared.  I suggest that teams create their own transportation accommodations.
