What Essential Oil To Use for a Hyper/Hypo Thyroid

Hyperthyroidism (overproduction of thyroid hormone) The oil of choice is Myrtle on the thyroid area daily. Black Spruce is also helpful for overactive thyroid function. Remember to use oil 2 hrs before or after taking thyroid medication. In my opinion we live in a very high estrogen dominate society.  So many substances are estrogen mimickers.  Eliminate all meats, poultry and dairy except for organic, range-fed of grass-fed sources.  Phase out all plastic in food preparation and storage; use glass containers. No microwaving of food, as it damages its basic structure. Follow the body ecology diet spoke of in the previous post.

Hypothyroidism (underproduction of thyroid hormone) Apply one or two drops of Myrrh twice daily to thyroid gland (where throat meets the rib cage) and on thyroid reflexology points of the feet.  You can also apply one drop on the neck of each big toe, morning and night.  Same rule as above, use oil 2 hours before or after taking thyroid medication. Follow same food guidelines also. Lump on Thyroid,  apply Frankincense directly on location, chart the radial temperatures for a week to see where it is and use either Myrrh or Myrtle, depending on the condition.
