Cleaning and Disinfecting with Essential Oils Taken from Nature’s Farmacy
*A few drops of essential oil may be added to the dishwasher or washing machine to clean and disinfect. I regularly use Lemon and Gaurdian in my laundry, as well as Eucalyptus globulas in my washer! On the John Tess radio show he said that you need to get your laundry out of the washer within 20 minutes or bacteria/mold starts to grow. I have left mine for 1 day and they have been fine!
*Gaurdian blend is anti-mold, antibacterial and intended to guard us from the onslaught of germs and “gunk” that can assault us on a daily basis.
Add 10-15 drops to 1 oz. cobalt spray bottle to carry in a diaper bag or handbag for disinfecting hands, shopping cart handles, airplane trays, ect. when in public.
Put 3-6 drops on a damp wash cloth to use for disinfecting kitchen counters; add to washing machine for disinfecting laundry: add to the dishwasher for disinfecting dishes. This can be especially helpful in preventing the spread of germs during cold and flu season when someone in the family is ill.
*Most essential oils create an environment that is unfriendly to germs and bacteria. Some favorites for use around the home include Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, TeaTree, Eucalyptus globulus, Thyme ct. thymol and Oregano. I also like to take ForeverGreen’s HouseKeeper, a totally safe, non toxic household cleaner for just about anything and add Gaurdian blend to it. The dilution amounts are on the bottle depending on what you want to clean. Have fun cleaning and disinfecting with essential oils.
