Cut paw heals quickly with Geranium & Lavender
The other morning our 10 year old Border Collie came in from a walk and had cut his paw. As he walked across the carpet there was blood everywhere. My husband wanted to take him straight to the vet, but I convinced him to let me try to stop the bleeding with the Essential Oils. The cut was quite deep in the middle of his paw so I poured some Geranium on his paw . At first it bled even more, but than it stopped completely. I cleaned of the blood put on some Lavender and bandaged his foot. He is an extremely active dog so to my total amazement he just laid down calmly and didn’t even try to get the bandage of. The next day I changed the bandage and put some more Lavender on. He was back going for a walk with a plastic bag over his foot and the third day it had healed up completely and we could take the bandage of. That not only made the whole incident less stressful for him, but also saved us a vet bill and he didn’t have to go on anti biotic.
