Essential Oils Help Periodontal Disease
One year ago my husband went to the dentist for his 6 month cleaning and check up with the hygienist and the dentist. They both informed him that he had periodontal disease and other things going on with his gums that would eventually cause him to lose his teeth to gum disease and there was nothing he could really do except use some of their mouth rinses and so forth to try to help them. His gums were affected and his teeth were starting to get more cavities even with good brushing.
It was mentioned that using a drop of the essential oil blend in the mouth after brushing would help distribute the essential oils throughout the gums and promote healthier gums and also fight of bacteria that cause illnesses we are exposed to. So he used the oil faithfully everyday by brushing and rinsing with a very small amount. He went to the dentist a month later and the hygienist was shocked at how healthy his gums were and asked what he had been using. She and the dentist said that he no longer has the disease and his teeth are once again secured by his gums. I have also watched them go from a pale color to a very healthy color. I have also noticed healthier gums on myself since learning about essential oils. And people think I have had my teeth whitened since I have started using Shine and some of the tooth powders from ForeverGreen.
