Andrea Brothers (TRUessence Essential Oils)

I too use essential oils for neck and shoulder pain, due to to much time infront of the computer.  Cairo Care is my number one choice also!  Andrea

I spent about two months working long hours on the computer writing a book. This resulted in a lot of muscle tension through my neck and shoulders to the point I was always feeling discomfort and pain. I also had a painful spot where my right shoulder muscles connect to my spine.

None of my usual relax methods were helping.

I ordered the Cairo Care and rubbed a couple of drops at the top and bottom of my spine before starting my yoga routine. On days I walked I rubbed a couple of drops along the spine reflex point on each foot and concentrated on walking with good alignment in my posture.

The pain has abated and I continue using Cairo Care in this way to keep me in alignment.

Alexandria Brighton in her lectures is always speaking of her friend Jack Chaitman’s Alchemical Distillation.  I found a video of Jack and he lives in Hawaii, it is beautifully done! I would like to go and visit someday, what a incredible place.  Enjoy!

I found these really cool videos on You Tube about distilling essential oils.  These are great learning videos. Enjoy! Remember that anyone can distill essential oils, Alexandria Brighton teaches us that not all oils are of therapeutic value.  That is why I trust her judgment of sourcing our oils and being able to read a gas chromatograph. The first video shows a small still while the second video demos a large still with much more detail.

Watch part two of the second video also. Make sure you have therapeutic essential oils and buy the TRUessence Brand.

A friend receives help from essential oils for water behind the ear and grit in the eye:
I have had some more really good experiences with the oils since returning home this month.

Being in Sedona, and traveling at such high altitudes, I developed water behind the ear. I tried some Helichrysum and Geranium, but nothing was happening. It felt as if I had a pool behind my ear.

I eventually went to my doctor on Friday the 18th. He started talking about a nasal spray (Neo or Polysporin) or putting a tube in my ear. I told him that was not going to happen.

He sent me to a specialist, who said the same thing. I told him that I had been using the oils in and around my ear. He told me that it was too far from the Eustachian tube and needed to be applied to the nostrils. I told him I would use Peppermint, — in place of a nasal spray —and I applied it immediately. Within hours the water had drained from my ear.

I went back to my doctor on Friday 25th — not because I needed to see him, but because I wanted him to see what the oils had done. He was very impressed — in fact, amazed that my ear is now completely clear.

I had stopped using the Liver Cleanse oils for a long while. I developed a bit of grit in my right eye. I tried everything I could think of, but it would not budge and was excruciatingly painful. This went on for a week. Yesterday it struck me that I should be doing the Liver Cleanse TRUessence Liver Cleanse. I did and the grit is gone today! What a relief!

Love and Gratitude,

U

What Essential Oil To Use for a Hyper/Hypo Thyroid

Hyperthyroidism (overproduction of thyroid hormone) The oil of choice is Myrtle on the thyroid area daily. Black Spruce is also helpful for overactive thyroid function. Remember to use oil 2 hrs before or after taking thyroid medication. In my opinion we live in a very high estrogen dominate society.  So many substances are estrogen mimickers.  Eliminate all meats, poultry and dairy except for organic, range-fed of grass-fed sources.  Phase out all plastic in food preparation and storage; use glass containers. No microwaving of food, as it damages its basic structure. Follow the body ecology diet spoke of in the previous post.

Hypothyroidism (underproduction of thyroid hormone) Apply one or two drops of Myrrh twice daily to thyroid gland (where throat meets the rib cage) and on thyroid reflexology points of the feet.  You can also apply one drop on the neck of each big toe, morning and night.  Same rule as above, use oil 2 hours before or after taking thyroid medication. Follow same food guidelines also. In my opinion we live in a very high estrogen dominate society.  So many substances are estrogen mimickers.  Eliminate all meats, poultry and dairy except for organic, range-fed of grass-fed sources.  Phase out all plastic in food preparation and storage; use glass containers. Lump on Thyroid,  apply Frankincense directly on location, chart the radial temperatures for a week to see where it is and use either Myrrh or Myrtle, depending on the condition.

A good resource or essential oil bible as I all it is Nature’s Farmacy. Get your copy, I have it with me all of the time!

What to do for a Hyper/Hypo Thyroid, 1 in 7 People Have Diagnosed Thyroid Disease, Even More Go Undiagnosed
Taken from my favorite way of eating   The Body Ecology Diet

In tomorrows post I will give you the recommended Essential Oils to use for your hyper/hypo thyroid.  For the sources used in this post go to the Body Ecology link, click and read.

Are you experiencing symptoms of thyroid disease? Learn the symptoms of low thyroid and how to improve your metabolism, energy and libido naturally.
While the majority of the public has heard of thyroid disease, one in seven people suffering from the disease is undiagnosed1.

Thyroid disease can be come in two, opposite forms: hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid) or hyperthyroidism (over-active). An underactive thyroid doesn’t produce enough of the hormone, while an overactive thyroid produces too much.

The thyroid is a small gland at the base of your throat that is crucial for hormone production. It makes hormones, which regulate metabolism and cell differentiation, and even affects other hormones like adrenaline.

The thyroid hormones control growth and metabolism. When hormone production declines, these body processes slows down and you can become cold, achy, fatigued, dizzy, and experience other uncomfortable symptoms.

Thyroid disease is much more common among women, and is also been linked to heredity.

In addition to those diagnosed, there are also millions of people that may have borderline low thyroid and still experience the negative symptoms, including:
depression
difficulty with weight loss
cold hands and feet
constipation
low libido
loss of energy
fatigue

Experiencing these symptoms is a sign that your thyroid should be checked, however, many of us can fight thyroid problems with changes in nutrition, exercise and stress management.

Here’s how to improve the health of your thyroid:

Following the Body Ecology diet is a great way to overcome the low energy that often accompanies a dragging thyroid. Eliminate processed foods, and incorporate thyroid-boosting fermented foods and drinks, such as cultured vegetables.

Additionally, exercise assists in detoxifying your endocrine system, which includes your thyroid.

Sleeping well and taking care of your emotional health is also beneficial.

Avoid raw, cruciferous vegetables. They are natural thyroid depressants because they contain isothiocyanates, which naturally interfere with the hormone production of your thyroid. Read why you should cook these veggies for maximum nutrition.

Sea vegetables, as along with fermented foods and drinks, are some of the healthiest foods for you, especially if you have a thyroid disorder. After searching high and low for the best quality seaweed we could recommend (and eat ourselves), we found it on the quiet coast of Maine, from The Seaweed Man. Check out his recipes for ideas!

Want to improve your energy, libido, metabolism and thyroid health?  There’s nothing like sea vegetables to feed your thyroid and adrenals with the vitamins and minerals they need to restore your get-up-and-go. Ocean Plant Extract, a raw, pure food supplement, is full of antiviral, anti-inflammatory agents, nutrients and minerals. It’s a perfect thyroid health booster. So if you’re experiencing symptoms or just looking for a convenient way to get your sea veggies, try some today!
If you really want a boost and don’t have the time or desire to eat seaweed…or if you want to give your thyroid an extra boost, Ocean Plant Extract is for you. Made from the potent Laminaria Japonica, a powerful sea vegetable that Russian doctors used to help people recover from nuclear fallout, Ocean Plant Extract can help you boost your metabolism, detox from heavy metals, support your immunity and rid your body of aging free radicals.

The Connection Between Your Thyroid and Adrenals

A low thyroid is most always associated with adrenal fatigue, since both organs are responsible for your energy. Your adrenal glands release hormones and have a direct effect on your energy, metabolism, and sexual organs. In fact, this is why most people experiencing low thyroid also have low libido. Removing prescription drugs, consuming an abundance of minerals, cutting out sugar and balancing your hormones are the best ways to regain the healthy libido needed for a happy love life and overall wellbeing.

But don’t get confused! Adrenal fatigue is often confused with thyroid issues since they have similar symptoms. You need both healthy adrenals and a healthy thyroid to maintain optimum energy.

It’s essential for your health that you are aware of your body and pay attention to any unusual and new symptoms; don’t let yourself go undiagnosed. Practice these natural ways to maintain your greatest level of health and you will help your body naturally take care of your thyroid, nourish your adrenals and prevent disease!

Diet is so important for a healthy thyroid and overall healthy body.  This diet or way of life makes the most sense to me of any diet I’ve ever studied.  In tomorrows post I will explain What to do for a Hyper/Hypo Thyroid using essential oils.
